Just bought the forerunner 955 today. Watch crashes everytime I use the map and try to navigate to a chosen point. Do any of you have the same problem. This is not okay for a €550 Watch.

Been the case since release and had been reported many times but somehow still not fixed, extremely annoying indeed. (But the mentioned workaround works at least)
There is a workaround for the bug. Select a point a little to the side of where you want to navigate to, which avoids paths, roads, or other points of interest.

When using the map to select something move the cursor just away from roads for example. When sleceting a road you get a list of options to choose from (Road, City) and selecting one of those crashes the watch.
When moving away from the road it will result in a single option and directly a navigate or save location option, now navigation does work...
I have the same issue. After choosing a destination on the map, the watch crashes and comes back to the main display. The watch has been bought more than 2 months ago and still there is no fix for it. I am considering returning the watch to the place of purchase.
