Forerunner 955 APPRECIATION thread

My Forerunner 955 works amazing now. I love it and can say it proudly. Forerunner 955 needs more love so let's hear it people!

    I look at all these threads with everyone's problems and I'm just so glad I got a perfectly working forerunner 955. I couldn't imagine  stressing out over a fricken fitness tracker to the degree that people are. Some folks sounds flat out miserable like it's literally ruining their life!! I bet less than 1% of owners are having these problems. So happy I'm not in that unlucky group!

    It all depends on the extent to which one is using the features on the watch . Much basic stuff is ok but some of the more complex features and selling points of the watch are not correct try working . Strangely some were working batter before a software update that broke many things across many devices .

    Nobody has a watch that is flawless and works 100% because most of the issues are generic and in the software.

    The fact that you apparently use the watch in a way that the issues are a problem for you doesn't make the issues go away... Some simply are general issues and if it's a feature you rely on, bought the watch for them or use intensively you can imagine it can drive you nuts.

    For me, I'm still satisfied with the watch... I only run, can work around most of the issues (even though they ARE there) but the fact that some are taking so long to fix or stupid new ones are introduced in an update annoy me as well after paying ~650 euros for this watch.
