Battery usage

Hi just bought an 955 solar.

Compared to the 935 it has an higher battery consumption and thats even with solar.

With the 935 I could easily get 14 days but the 955 seems te get max 11 days with the same apps installed (pulse ox is disabled, backlight disabled).

I hoped I would get more days because of the solar ring.

What are you're long(er) term experience?

I usually charge it about once a week but i dont use it only as a smartwatch. I track about 5-6hr/week gps running and most of it with the music from the watch. GPS is set to auto mode, pulse OX disabled and backlight enabled.

Solar has only use if you are spending your time outside. Ive noticed some days when in the evening i have exactly same battery precentage as in the morning.

I don't have the beta or latest firmware so I don't have the auto GPS option yet.

Hopefully the newest firmware is better for the battery.

If GPS tracking is set to all systems or all + multiband and you ran activities that used GPS that could be causing additional drain.

I mainly use it as smart watch now because of an injury.

So I believe the smartwach battery usage is higher with the 955.

I had some good sun today unfortunately I haven't gained even one single procent (also didn't lose one).

Solar is very over rated in my opinion.

Definitely worse on FW12.23 from what I notice on my 955

Yes. According to the user test, the solar is able to charge 1% of the battery in an off state in 1 hour

Yes I definitely saw that user test.

Not my experience for now.
