battery discharge

My forerunner 955 with new update =  high battery drain . 8:00 baterrry 92% , 5hours GPS by bike and battery 72% in 22:00 battery 62%,  next day after sleeping 32%.

  • Reboot the watch and see if that helps. Failing that, go into sensors/accessories and disable BLUETOOTH connections. BT connections are often constant, certainly in the case of Stryd pods, and this can cause significant battery drain. Your activity drain seems fine, 20% in 5 hours is good. 30% overnight is not! Mine is around 2-3% overnight. Interestingly, it does use more battery throughout the day even if not using GPS, probably 4-5% per 12 hours, yet, say, from 9pm-9am it might be just 2-3%. I guess that's because of no phone notifications etc....!?

  • this problem appeared 2 times only on the new update (
within 1 week ).on first discharge - I trust reboot the watch. 3-4 day baterry OK and now again.
