Forerunner 955 Series: Missing HRV Status and Training Status on watch

Hi,

I have been wearing the 955 for about 3 weeks now, I still have no values showing on

"Training Readiness"

"Race Predictor"

"Training Status"

"HRV Status"

Before the 955 I was using a 945.

Anyone have any ideas for a remedy?

We believe that we have a fix for this report that will be rolling out with the next software release for this device. While I do not have a timetable for this release, I will be updating this thread…

You might just have the same problem as me. I discovered today that in the configuration of the watch under

System > Data Recording

the most recent firmware update had turned HRV analysis to a default…

You might just have the same problem as me. I discovered today that in the configuration of the watch under

System > Data Recording

the most recent firmware update had turned HRV analysis to a default value of OFF. I turned that ON again and expect to get the data from now on.

Since I use a German interface, maybe it's not called Data Recording but something similar like Data Analysis. It's the second menu entry in the last block of that setup section, so you should easily find it.

Let me know if it was turned off in your case as well.

That wasn't the solution unfortunately. Still no nightly HRV data on my watch.

You definitely have HR recording on, yes? You have set your sleep times, and it's recording sleep? If so, perhaps it's time to contact Garmin.

The issue is know already at Garmin. They are currently collecting cases for the 255 here:

I've made them aware in that post that the Forerunner 955 is affected as well. Maybe you should also add your case there.

Yes to both questions. I have nightly sleep data and also did several runs and other trainings where heart rate was measured perfectly fine.

I even tried activating pulse oxymeter/SpO2 measurement during sleep in case that there is a bug that HRV status won't be collected otherwise. No success there.

Funny, BTW, I have the same issues and also recently updated from a 945 to a 955. Maybe the problem is associated with that constellation.

I have the same problem no Training status! Have the watch for two months and before that an 945.
