Forerunner 955: Wrong stride length for outdoor run when paired with RD Pod

I have the Garmin Running Dynamic Pod and the stride length isn't working. Sometimes it doesn't show anything, most of the time my stride length is half of normal. I'm normal at 1m, but it shows only 0,5 meter. When this happens, vertical ratio isn't working as well, or the data isn't correct.

I first thought my RD pod was broken, so I bought a new one, but I have the same problems with the newer pod.

Hope you can help figuring out what causes the problem.

Hi , I just looked at my RD data in Garmin Connect (Web) and I do have a Stride Length Graph. Both on my older activities (HRM-PRO) current activities (HRM-PRO PLUS). Liked at older activities with FR745 and the same.

I see there is a dropdown saying "Customise Charts" just below the map, maybe Stride Length isn't checked there?

Hi. Ive look at all my activities and I have the graph both on web and App versions

Under the Map there is a customize charts dropdown. Check its ticked there...

Im running iOS beta though, so maybe I’m not a candidate for support.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stride length trace on my activity graphs though.

First place I looked.

I have Elevation, Pace, Heart Rate, Performance Condition, Run Cadence, Power: Watts, Vertical Oscillation, Ground Contact Time, Temperature, Stamina, Run/Walk in my charts.

Under "Devices", I have "Foot Pod" listed as last being checked on July 20, which was the last time I ran. I get a confirmation on my watch that the RD Pod is connected and I get a prompt at the end of each run to remove it from my shorts, so I know it's connected during each run.

1689255, Garmin-Kevin - is there an update on this topic already? I'm having the same issues with my FR 255 music and RD Pod (already placed a new post for this as well: Forerunner 255: Wrong stride length for outdoor run when paired with RD Pod - Forerunner 255 Series - Running/Multisport - Garmin Forums).

First run with the pod showed the correct data, but it's been off after that.

Did you have an RD Pod or an HRM that supports RD paired to the watch for the run(s)? --> RD Pod
May we, if necessary, have permission to email you? --> yes
May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account? --> yes
In what country do you live? --> Netherlands
