Anyone have this available?
I think most people here think the same: Garmin should deliver what they promise, but what they deliver is buggy all over.
Don´t feed the 7413611-Troll :-)
He´s just living in his own world and can…
Maybe it is still too buggy to distribute..
And let’s be honest who look at a map when running?
I look at the map when I run ultramarathon in the mountains, like many other runners ;-)
Schnellejugend mine only came through 12 hours ago, had auto update selected, then turned on WiFi and connected several times then it popped up. It might be because it's slowly downloading to your phone first.
I found another bug with 11.12:
When I start the "LAST ACTIVITY" in the Glance menu not all activities are shown in the list. When I connect the watch to the computer, the activity .fit files are in the /GARMIN/Activity folder. After I start the Garmin Express all of the previously stored activites are gone from the folder and the "LAST ACTIVITY" list is completly get confused.
Can you check your "LAST ACTIVITY' menu, your list is correct?
Not noticed it here (just tried). Have you turned the watch on and off? I had issues picking a sport last night and wrong one coming up eg breathwork was run and hrv was walk, but after turning watch off and back on it seem to solve things.
i had a strange battery change after updating. i charged it to 100%, it dropped to 99% in 1 hour, then dropped to 97% after a total of 5 hours. out of curiosity and concern, i restated the watch (held power for 15 seconds and then rebooted). it came back on at 99%. now, overnight, after a total of 17 hours, it's at 97% which is pretty normal from my 5+ weeks of experience with the watch.
cautious hope!...
i just went on a run and at the end of the run, i consciously tried to trip up my watch by paging quickly to the maps page and low and behold, it didn't crash and displayed the map!
so, it's 1 for 1, but this gives me some hope that things are little more stable. i'l be curious to hear if any others encounter map crashes with 11.12.
i think we all have this problem. but i'll take that (for now) if it doesn't crash on me as the workaround is to pan around using my finger and then using the buttons to zoom in and out.
not ideal, but less ideal is when the entire watch crashes
