Anyone have this available?
I think most people here think the same: Garmin should deliver what they promise, but what they deliver is buggy all over.
Don´t feed the 7413611-Troll :-)
He´s just living in his own world and can…
Maybe it is still too buggy to distribute..
And let’s be honest who look at a map when running?
I look at the map when I run ultramarathon in the mountains, like many other runners ;-)
Actually, to be quite frank, the users on this Forum are generally sophisticated and from what I have seen are knowledgeable and detailed users to the watch. Many have gone out of the way to in detail lay out the issues and provide many examples. I've had many Garmin's since the 201 and this is the first one to give so many issues. What is really frustrating to many (me included) is the lack of communication from Garmin to the many issues raise (by many parties not just one "idiot user") that are fundamental to the use of many of the functions of the watch. Lack of a proper beta setup so that we can easily report issues so that these may be addressed. This is exacerbated by the "roll-out" (if one can use that phrase to describe this) of Firmware 11.12 that seems very unprofessionally handled.
Yes it's a nice device, yes some things work...but many don't. If I wanted a simple watch I would have bought a FR 55..
Do you have other garmin product with training load (edge .. ?)
Do you mind detailing workout perform during the first 5 days compared to the 5 following days?
Km, avg heart rate, calorie
Proceeding your simple-minded strategy to show that every user here is wrong and too dumb? Very obvious. Of course you are the best athlete and the only one who knows everything best :-)
it has nothing to do with being an athlete or whatever. It’s my job. Software deployment, project management and dealing with user expectations. Until he show his training he cannot claim that the training load is stuck. It look like he used it hard the first 5 days he got it the slowed down. Since he didn’t had history, watch see it as detraining.
Your guys are making a boatload of noise with petty issue meanwhile real issue are drowned into noise.
What real issue? You stated you don´t have any, so everybody else has also not to have any.
Seems most noise comes from you.
@7413611 Maybe you are such a theoretical user as garmin developers? Maybe developers should start using these watches to see how they work? ;-)
ps, most of the time the user is wrong. The problem is 50% company/ 50% user
The company should make more obvious direct communication to user
And user should make an effort to read the documentation.
So yes, I believe that most user is stupid and lazy. They expect everything to work and they never bother reading the manual.
@7413611 blah blah, my garmin is rebooting because i haven't read the manual. I have been using Garmins for years and I have not had such an underdeveloped one like the 955.
