I think most people here think the same: Garmin should deliver what they promise, but what they deliver is buggy all over.

I tried a lot of them ( have about 10 on basecamp on PC :) ) but none of them have so good theme as those from openfiest map lite.

Additionaly i have one that is one of the kind, very old but very detailed for my area.

What is your problem with custom .img maps?

I downloaded some maps from a finnish site unzip .img file and used android file transfer no problems.

My biggest problem is navigate to map. long press start does not work. and left panning on maps is taken as Back...but navigate to map is the biggest, almost a deal breaker. hope they fix it in this update.

I was able to download it about 30 minutes ago on the computer with Garmin Express.

(WOndering, does it then simply download the gcd files to GARMIN and GARMIN\REMOTESW directories? Then it might be able to share them...)

And could you post the version info on the various modules? (GPS, WIFI, etc).

The 11.11 one had almost nothing changed, only main SW and TSC (which I assume is TouchSCreen). Hoping this one actually has some more stuff, even though the changelog doesn't really seem to indicate so.

good for you. i have literally been plugging in my watch every few hours and nothing here. i'm not sure why i'm so excited about it...the list of fixes on the changelog isn't extensive so i'm not sure we will see many of our longstanding bugs fixed.
