For a given workout "step", how can I see my lap pace? Step pace shows the average for the whole step, not each km... and lap pace doesn't reset as you start a new step and therefore averages your pace across multiple steps e.g. the warm up and the workout itself.
Context:
I use 2 data screens for my running workouts:
- Screen 1: Shows overall workout distance and lap pace (a "lap" is defined as 1km)
- Screen 2: Shows step distance and step pace
Let's say I do a basic workout: Step 1 = 20 min warm-up; Step 2 = 30 min @ half marathon pace; Step 3 = cool down
Issue summary:
- The step pace only shows me the average pace for the entire 30 minute HMP "step" - I want to see my average pace for each km I run in that step.
- Conversely, the lap pace shows my average km pace but does not account for when a new step starts e.g. I may do a 4.25km warm up, then start the next step, but the lap pace is averaging the 250m I did as part of Step 1 and the 750m I did in Step 2 - I want to see the lap pace reset as I enter a new step in the workout.
