Does the Forerunner 945 have less bugs than the 945 LTE ?

I am observing that the SW updates on the Foreruner 945 are much more frequent than on the 945 LTE, and the SW version number is already 10, as opposed to 5 for the LTE version.

I am owning the 945 LTE and suffering many annoying bugs, like:

Are these bugs also present in the 945 model without LTE?

I am considering returning my "945 LTE" based on guarantee, and acquiring a 945 base model instead. I originally bought the LTE version due to the power saving mode (which the 945 does not have despite being mentioned in the manual), and I am not using the LTE feature anyway.

But I am afraid that the Forerunner 945 "non-LTE" may have other - similarly annoying bugs instead...

  • 945 is more mature, so kind of normal and expected. Usually it takes about year for new Forerunner to get most of the issues fixed that it has with release. So at this moment kind of the 945 LTE should have it's bugs fixed but maybe this is new normal that they get more new features and it's longer broken.

Kind of version number could indicate some maturity, but it's not really that case, as like 955 has 10.10 already ;)
