I am observing that the SW updates on the Foreruner 945 are much more frequent than on the 945 LTE, and the SW version number is already 10, as opposed to 5 for the LTE version.
I am owning the 945 LTE and suffering many annoying bugs, like:
- Disturbing red lines from previous activities messing up my map view

- Unfavourable and buggy map scrolling behaviour

- Partly serious bugs when navigating along a pre-planned course, like missing turn signals and missing warnings when leaving the pre-planned course.

Are these bugs also present in the 945 model without LTE?
I am considering returning my "945 LTE" based on guarantee, and acquiring a 945 base model instead. I originally bought the LTE version due to the power saving mode (which the 945 does not have despite being mentioned in the manual), and I am not using the LTE feature anyway.
But I am afraid that the Forerunner 945 "non-LTE" may have other - similarly annoying bugs instead...
