ok, you will want to set your HR Maximum manually (same with resting) these values don't change much so want them set to a good known value. I don't know why Garmin would lower your maximum HR automatically…

Have your max HR changed? Check that the HR zones are the same.

Decline that I got from 61 to 54 lasted for 10 days in a row, then it stabilized in a range 55-57 for 4th weeks in a row. At the same time threshold declined and this is some kind of explanation of VO2MAX decline. but at the same time I broke PR at 5K twice and still wandering where is the point of truth?))..
