Battery consumption with unconnected sensors.

Occasionally I'll use my 945 when doing a zwift workout on my kickr core. I'll have the watch connect to the HRM chest strap I wear and also to the power meter/cadence on the trainer.

My question is, 'Once the workout is over and I turn the trainer off, but the sensors are not turned off on the watch itself does this lead to increased battery consumption?' I'm assuming it will do as the watch is continuing to search for the trainer which I've turned off.

Thanks.

Pete
