In the latest software update the 'improved fitness age' is introduced. After 2 weeks of use, I am already on my achievable fitness age. Question: is it correct that it's limited on 'age minus 9 years' ? If so, why a limiter ?

So, it seems to be true. There is limiter at 'age minus 10'. Not very motivating. It would be good for Garmin (or Firstbeat ?) to 1. state this somewhere and 2. explain why a limiter has been set and 3…
You may be surprised but for the most part I agree with you. All gimmicks and you shouldn't take them too seriously. On the other hand, why buy a 945, when you are not interest al all in these gimmicks…
You really are a troll, comes with age probably ? Never was it stated as a fact: "It seems to be true". We will see if Garmin/Firstbeat is going to give additional explanation on the new metric. Up to…
However I was looking where the limit of 10 is mentioned, I didn't see this there - did I miss it?
No. Somebody made an assumption and made it look like a fact. The reality is the new Fitness Age metric is just a number that can be ignored or otherwise. Arguably it’s better than the previous estimate that was based purely on VO2max (I’m 64 but using the earlier metric I was 20!). But YMMV

If you go to Training Status or Performance Stats on the App and make your way to Vo2max screen, at the bottom there is a blue texted link to go to Fitness Age. Not sure if there is an easier method.
Website you can go to 'Reports' / All Activities / Fitness Age
