In the latest software update the 'improved fitness age' is introduced. After 2 weeks of use, I am already on my achievable fitness age. Question: is it correct that it's limited on 'age minus 9 years' ? If so, why a limiter ?

So, it seems to be true. There is limiter at 'age minus 10'. Not very motivating. It would be good for Garmin (or Firstbeat ?) to 1. state this somewhere and 2. explain why a limiter has been set and 3…

Why am I asking? My fitness age is 39 (real age 49) while a guy in the US aged 50+ is getting a fitness age of "20" even though his Vo2Max is way lower than mine. So is it correct that this should not be the case?

I suspect he's not receiving the 'improved fitness age'.
