Battery Drain since few days

Hello,

Since few days, I find that there is an abnormal battery drain. Without doing any activity and with only the heart rate and activity monitoring activated I lose 10% / day whereas before it was maximum 5% / day.Do you also have this kind of problem?

Thanks

  • Every now and then i keep having a battery drain.... First seemed to be related to the big north America map that I had to deselect to offline. But still having recurring battery drains. Happens now when I don't have the watch connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth. I disconnect it every evening and night. Battery drain comes back every three weeks or so

  • I solved my 7% battery drain today. The watch was a never used spare my ex gave me that was sat nearly a year so I think this affected the battery. Things that didn't work: resetting the watch, hard reset, charging to 100%. What did work: Using a different USB cable (can't confirm if this fixed it) and charging to 100% and charging on another 2 hours then doing a hard reset. Battery drain is 6.7% WITH music on and 0.05% drain 10% backlight something like that anyways it's fixed.

  • I can concur, that I too have noticed significant battery drain in the last couple of weeks. Having to charge about every 3 days.

Hopefully we can work this out between ourselves as there is little point waiting for Garmin to get involved.

  • Same here. I just charged my 945 one day ago, and after the update happened last night, I found my battery was only 1% this morning.

This issue has happened to me a few weeks ago, at that time I thought it was because some 3rd party apps. I uninstalled them, but since now I am seeing this issue again, I suspect it may also due to the updates last time.

  • Same problem here - loosing around 20-30% /day without any activity, just a smartwatch mode with custom face (which don't show seconds)

Garmin team you can clearly see that this is an issue to many users. Can you suggest anything?
