(Known Issue) GPS accuracy on Jan 01 2021?

Just had a run with my 945. GPS was way off during the run, I mean about 50-100 meters off reality during the whole route.

Has anyone else had this today? Using GPS+Glonass setting.

Not impacting everyone, but it is a system-wide issue impacting multiple device types, not only Garmin devices.

2020 year was a 1 second longer because it needed the correction. Maybe it's something related to this.

Ha, definitely 2020 is to be blamed for many things. It even screwed up 2021. LOL.

My F945 on 30km run has track moved to the west for about 20km. Then it was allright. My father F6x on 4km run was completly fubar.

Yep, climbing metrics for a run that should be up and down around 20m each way gave me a constant climb of 90+m!

we should remind them, that they better not only care about the Fenix customers like always, but also about the Forerunner ones.

Yep, but it is how it is :(

Tested that with:
- Removed CPE.bin
- Turned watch off
- Turned watch on
- Hike, wait for GPS
- Start, wait for 5min.

Now I have new CPE.bin but it's still 2kb and CPE: Expired.

So that workaround doesn't seem to work. So waiting for GPS firmware update.
