  • I don't follow. If there's 5 lines, two of them lines 5 and 3 has labels, 90 and 40. We can calculate that the difference is 50m, so 25m per lines. So:
    5. line 90m (shown)
    4. line 65m (calculated)
    3. line 40m (shown)
    2. line 15m (calculated)
    1. line -10m (calculated)
    Total difference 100m, divided to four parts, is 25m per part.

    Yes.  Your low measures a hair below line 2 (the green you can see in the photo just below the number 10 and the top of the white time line) and doesn't start at line 1.

    I think we can always use these to calculate the scale and labels:
    Max scale value:
    maxs=MAX+(10-MAX%10)
    Min scale value:
    mins=MIN-(MIN%10)
    Top label is the same as max scale value:
    topl=maxs
    Middle label:
    midl=maxs-(maxs-mins)/2

    I'll be the first to admit my math skills are terrible, but looking at my graph this doesn't seem to be the case.  Please keep in mind that I'm in the US and my measurements are Imperial and not metric.

  • -Updated the main workout data screen to indicate High, Low, or In Range for the current target.

    Since this firmware update, my workouts synced from final surge no longer have the audio alert when going out of pace range. The watch beeps but the screen goes blank on the target and there is not the usual audio alert of how fast or slow I'm out of range.

    I still get my lap audio alert and scheduled average pace audio alert.

    Anyone else have this problem?

  • How long should it take to get the update ? Mine still shows no update available.

  • but looking at my graph this doesn't seem to be the case.

    I wasn't meaning that Garmin is calculating those like that, it was meant how I would do it to answer your question what would I prefer. I don't know what Garmin's way to calculate the scale and labels is.

  • I misunderstood. I thought you were saying you found how Garmin was calculating and using the scale.

  • How do I disable Today’s Suggestion in my run activity? I followed the instructions above and when I select the Today’s Suggestion entry (run>menu>Training>Workouts>Today Suggestion) it shows the suggestion page (in my case it is a rest suggestion screen) but not an option to enable/disable.

  • My 945 watch software updated on Saturday morning and now my golf gps yardages are off by 15 yards.  if i'm 100 yds to center of green it only shows as 85 yds.  all season the distance on my watch has matched my friends other Garmin watch (not a 945).  his watch didn't get an update this weekend and his yardages are accurate.

  • This morning the “rest” suggestion watch face for the run activity was replaced with a slow pace run suggestion. This time, however, it gave me the option to accept or disable the suggestion. So it seems like a “rest” suggestion cannot be disabled.

  • Although my watch syncs fine post activity, it has stopped being "connected" to the Garmin app (Galaxy S9+) and all sorts of resets, etc. has not fixed the issue. Really frustrating since you cannot change watch app settings, etc.
