No news on 4.41 successor?

Beta 4.41 has been out for a while now but so far no indication of a new, stable/final firmware... I understand there is the Covid-19 issue so just wondering if all development is halted or should we expect a new firmware (final or beta) anytime soon...

I agree that we all want a proper stable version and not the recent patches but to be honest the whole 945 has been in my opinion a patch. The 935 had a better GPS (not surprised here due to the chipset…

so only 4 metrics more to the F6 what is expected in my opinion.

The lack/slow pace of updates (not necessarily to bring new functions/metrics but to sort the numerous other issues reported at this forum…

What I don't understand about the whole Garmin Fenix / Forerunner / Vivo series firmwares - is they all must fundamentally be the same hardware at a very base level, with features added / removed based…

Yep, it seems they don't hurry much to roll out a stable release.

But I would rather wait longer for good stable firmware than get a buggy one sooner, like it was with 4.40 and its beta predecessor. I just hope that this is the only reason of such delay, and they currently work hard 25/8 to deliver the best firmware ever :))

I hope this is just delay due to working from home and not Garmin shifting focus to 955

...as from their perspective we already paid them the money and the new firmware development is only a cost with no revenue attached...

Same here, I'd rather wait longer and get a proper firmware upgrade, than getting a buggy one quicker!

I do hope to see a new version with battery improvements. v4.40 started looking good but, not sure why, the last 3 weeks started to be awful (again).

And if I can say something I've learned with the 945: I will never again pay to be a garmin beta tester because that's how I felt buying it in the 1st week out (at the awful revision A version). Had it changed for a rev. D and it is better and, from now on this long time Garmin user here will always wait a few months before buying a new Garmin product...
