Floor climbing Workout

Hi all

Towards doing a mainly floor climbing workout, what Activity profile will work the best?

I see a FLOOR CLIMB activity. However the reason I ask here, is whether TREADMILL RUN activity work as well?

I'm looking at Floors climbed or metres climbed, time, HR, distance (using accelerometer, not GPS).

Doi what do you guys recommend using - FLOOR CLIMB or TREADMILL activity profile?

Or any other option?

Cheers!

  • mmm where is this setup? i cant find it

  • Settings / Sensors & accesories / Barometer / Clock mode      I supose we must change "Auto" to "Alimeter".     I try it this evening     Thank you ELIOBELL

  • This is today's activity:

    connect.garmin.com/.../4802727450

Not very good news ... With the proposed setting (Barometer Clock Mode = Altimeter) the "Height" graph has improved and shows each floor rise/fall better, but the floor count does not improve ... Today I returned to I went up a total of 200 floors but the watch shows only 166. It can also be seen that the "height" graph decreases throughout the activity; maybe that's why they begin to "lose floors". On the other hand, I have marked a "lap" in each group of 50 and Garmin Connect Web does not record how many floors I have climbed on each lap. ... :-(

  • Yes, this is the fine set !!

  • Barometer in altimeter was the same to me. I put in altimeter (or not) and the altitude was the same. I waited for a change for about 5 minutes during the workout...nothing changed.... i continued for a 2x10 floor and revert the barometer parameter.... nothing happened( or near the same.) Always showed me a difference for 2 or 3 meter and obivosly the 945 count a one less floor.

As always , sometimes the count was perfect but generally stole me a 1 floor.
