Changing map format

Apparently my google skills are lacking.

I'm trying to figure out how to change some of the elements on the map. Specifically, when I'm running a course I sometimes have problems seeing the arrow on the map indicating where I'm supposed to turn. The arrow is white, with a thin line around it, while the map is also white. When running at night, I sometimes cannot figure it out.

Is there any way to change the color scheme, or to change the color of a specific element? Or is this something I should add to the "things we'd like the 945 to do" list?

I have just posed the same kind of question: Have you found the setting that is responsible for the ’white where-to-turn arrow’ on the navigation map? Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't

Have you played around with map themes as a way to change the colors? I was having issues picking our my navigation path because the default nav path was nearly the same color as some of the major streets. I stumbled across a thread over with the Fenix 6 forum that had a link to custom themes that another poster had created and shared. I started using one of his custom orange nav colors and made a world of difference. Might help with your arrow color issue. Thanks for your reply, but I didn't change the colors. It's a kind of arbitrary when the white direction arrow appears or not. But I'm suspecting the setting of the map details, which I have set to low. I will check it later today.
