Forerunner 945 problem syncing Spotfy

Hello,

I just got my Forerunner 945, and just updated the software to version 4.1, downloaded the latest version of spotfy (everything up to date).

I followed all the steps:

* Connected to wifi network

* Connected my premium Spotfy account

* Chose a playlist to sync

This is what happens:

The syncing begins, but gets stuck around 15%, then it says "Sync Failed" I go back and start the sync again, luckly it begins from the 15% and then it goes until around 30%, and the same " Sync Failed" happens again... After many tries I got one playlist to work (50 song playlist). Is there any way around it? I have a perfect wifi connection works well for everything, even to sync my spotfy on my iPhone. Let me know if anyone have any tips to solve this issue.

After trying virtually everything, I found a work around. Even though my router/internet setup works perfectly with everything else (iPad, iPhone, Netflix, PC gaming), it doesn’t with the 945. I had to temporarily remove disable security/encryption/password on my router to make the 945 sync correctly with spotfy. It still took a long time to sync around 600 songs, but worked. After finished syncing I got my router back with the security settings.

Let me know if anyone ever experienced something like this.

I had the same problem. I tried:

Remove wifi network in watch (using mobile garmin connect)
Add again the site
Still problem with sync via wifi and sync spotify list (message: unable to sync spotify)

When I moved near main wifi router then it worked. I have 2 routers main and secondary. Both have the same SSID, the same password, but both have different channel.

Main router configuration (Asus RT-N66U): fix channel 12, DHCP enabled, WPA-Auto-Personal
Secondary router (Asus RT-AC57U): channel automatic (!!), DHCP disabled, fix ip address

When I'm near main router my garmin 945 sync without problem (sync watch and also sync spotify). I will try to set fix channel on secondary router if it will help.

Main problem: There is no documentation from garmin about wifi. There must be some hidden restrictions. May be there is simply software bug, but these problems are across different watches.
