Forerunner 945 firmware not updating

My forerunner is on 2.8, EU version

I tried both with Garmin connect on windows and on iOS but it says that 2.8 is the latest version while I know we are already at 3.0 and above.

Any idea how to fix it?

How many versions of the 945 are there? I thought it was just US and rest of world.

My first 945 was not US version. The easiest way for me to tell was that the maps didn't include the local roads in my neighborhood. Amazon then sent me a US version and took back the original one. I had assumed that there were only two, but now that I've read this conversation...

Well maybe you should be glad, 2.80 (and 3.30 possibly) are the more stable firmware revisions and with the least battery drain.
