ANT/BLE/BT Is at version 5.01. While we have historically used the ending of .00 with our production updates, this will change for some updates moving forward. This is a production update and is not a beta release.

  • Okay, so after my watch went crazy and all related HR/HRV readings were berserk (even after several soft resets before and after) I decided to connect it with my PC and GE. Bad idea... GE started having server problems (once again) and one map update got corrupted. I couldn't power on my watch because it remained stuck on "loading map". I did three factory resets and it finally started powering on, though it took about 20 minutes to load the maps (but this time I had a loading bar and I saw progress). I connected it back with GE and re-installed all maps. All back to normal now, EXCEPT that the battery drain on my watch STILL persists!

Ive only had troubles with 3.90, in a way I've never had with Garmin before (and I'm not saying that my past experiences have been flawless)...

Here are the screenshots of my SS an BB, never had this before.

  • I charged to 100 yesterday. With no activities and just normal all day heart rate I'm down 18% in less than 24 hours. It's draining about 1% per hour doing nothing.

  • I'm in 3.90 without any battery issues. Maybe it is because of other factors (apps, widgets, etc) ¿?

nope, everything is standard here, as after delivered by Garmin!

3-4 days Battery life without any activity!

  • I'm also still stuck on software 2.80 with the APA 945 version, please confirm when this will be a live update for everyone? I'd be happy just to have 3.30.

  • The APAC devices will receive updates at their own schedule. We continue efforts to bring these timelines closer together, but at present, there is still a delay. My apologies for not being able to provide a more firm timeline at this moment.

This thread will be locked at this time as a new update (4.00) has just been released.
