yes, seems so, when i change to english language i haven't the reboot on FW 3.77 Beta!

  • yes, im on 3.9.
Got a new watch because I had to RMA my Rev A because of the cracking OHR and the buttons issue. My Rev D is now in the 20% rollouts.

Did you try deleting German and reinstalling it?

  • no, i don't want to do this, it's better to have the possibility to reproduce it, if Garmin need something Stuck out tongue winking eye

atm i use the watch with english language and i am thinking, why not in the future too!

  • We have a few articles in our support center today and will work to fill in any gaps we have.

Is there any chance to be able to do this test in a 20 meters pool?

now i am a little bit confused, i already have 5.01 but on Beta 3.77?

and of course my battery drain is 50% more then normal, when i understand it right, this sensor update is more or less a driver who manage the battery drain or?

  • Garmin-Blake, does this update really bring us Bluetooth 5 to the watch or is it an internal software number? I thought that Bluetooth 4 to 5 needs also changes in hardware.

Regarding battery drain: I assume that Garmin includes a third party software stack which means that the software code is not made but bought and included. This makes it even more difficult to find and fix battery issues.  Am I right  ?

Bluetooth 4 or 5 is definitely a hardware thing and couldn't change with a software update, anyway none of the Garmin watches and bike computers have bluetooth 5 today!

ANT/BLE/BT Is at version 5.01 means, it is more or less a different or better driver version  on the watch like on your computer for different hardware

  • Thanks Blake - do you happen to have any info on how to use the advanced yoga stuff?  I assume it's step by step like the F6, but not sure (not in the 20%, boo).  Slight smile

  • While I am not in the 20% for direct update, using Garmin Express via cable updated me ...
