HRM RUN + 945 bug?

Hi,

945 last official firmware

HRM RUN last firmware (its from 2017 i think) (the one with the running man icon)

NEVER had a problem with 920xt+hrm run.

Now, in a random way i have 2 o 3 "bug" (i dont know how to name it)

The bpm went in a "normal way"...120...130...140 with my normal pace is ok........ suddenly went up....165-170-175... tried to put it and relocalize in my body with no changes in bpm....175...174....179... and stuck in 180-185.

Today was the 3rd time that happened so i take off....and.... yes!!! the bpm stills show 180...

As i said is RANDOM....yesterday was very pacefull and i know my efforts....it showed the 130-155 and was ok.

Is it a bug? the battery is almost new.... in fact iam thinking in the 945 and not in the HRM RUN.

By the way, the 945 gps is near a bullsh..... my very old 305....my 405....my 410....my 920 were better in the "tracking" in the SAME day, SAME track.

thank you.

  • i respect you.... dessambly to check it.... great!  its a pity i dont know how to do it. This kind of answer is the ones wich i like. My HRM "looks fine"...dont know internally.

By the way phillip, today i changed the battery and will try agian.

Also iam not a no brain man and think "that every issue maybe a bug". As i said ive been using this kind of tech since 2004 when the forerunner was like a "spaceship" so i "understand" a little about this.. It is the FIRST time (since 2004) that i have a "rare problem" with the heart rate strap. And this "new" generation gps (or the forerunners itself) are far from a "solid" product, so let me have a doubt. They are ok, but we are in 2020 and the "problems" i have with this new toys are the "same" i had with the 305 (+- 2009).

sorry about my not native language!

  • Did you solve it? I'm experiencing some problem with mine, even after changing strap and battery
