I have been quite satisfied with FR 945 so far but there are a couple of OHR problems I have noticed and didn't find a similar question here on the forum. I just navigated a bicycle course I made a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the OHR didn't register my heart rate accurately at all. I was sweating like a pig while riding and my heartrate was propably on the average 150 bpm. I checked the heart rate while riding a couple of times and to my surprise it showed only 80-90 bpm and after the whole course average bpm was 83!
This heart rate problem does not occur while doing an activity such as biking normally without navigation. So I am wondering is this a bug or a "feature", that the OHR doesn't work appropriately while navigating. Has anyone else noticed this?
Now a similar problem has occurred while doing a sport on a custom mode. For example when i used the "cardio"-mode during a vigorous floorballgame the FR 945 showed my heart rate appropriately, it ranged from about 120/min to 180/min but when I used a self made custom mode the FR 945 showed only heart rates from 80-120/min during the same exercise which was not realistic.
I hope I have described these problems accurately enough. Has anyone else noticed these and if so is there anything that can be done about them?
