hello and thanks :-) this is how the rma order looks - hence my question :-).anyway - how does your new device behave? all good so far (buttons i suppose), even if it's refurbished?

seems you will get a new one, i'd assume.
i just got a revision C (not D) but buttons are fine so far. but i just use it since yesterday.
my first 945's buttons didn't work fine from the beginning, so at least for now it's a step forward.

yep, brand new in box, rev D ;)

American RMA here, that just got fulfilled (took a week all together). I got a brand new watch Rev D, in the box. 

Battery life still stinks, but it's better than the Rev C I sent back.

How can I check which rev is my watch?

You can't be a very good searcher - if you write "revision" in the search box at the top of the page you will get these hits - https://forums.garmin.com/search?q=revision&group=11

But to answer the question, you need the box in which the watch comes. It's written in very small text there at the bottom on one side.
