since FW 2.80 my battery drain goes up to 50% more as before, haven't changed anything on my setup!
before FW 2.80 for 24h arround 7-8%
now with FW 2.80 in 12 hours the same, lost 8%

Anyone experiencing high battery drain should start with a hard reset (holding the power button for up to 15 seconds). If this does not resolve the issue, more information will likely be needed from you…
hello Former Member,
what i can tell for sure is that currently (with only spo2 activated during night and daily steps tracking) the battery life of the 945 is way worse compared to the 935. with 1-2 workouts…
Can't we have statement from Garmin if they have noted that there is an issue with battery drain and they plan to solve it?

Former Member sorry, but after 48 hours the battery drain comes back, again 14% a day instead of arround 7% a day, seems the hard reset fix only the first 24 hours
I'm a bit dissapointed with the watch...
I used Fenix 5s for two years and changed to F945 mainly because of the battery
It turned out that my old fenix's battery was the same as this new watch...
I have to charge f945 every 5/6 day (ohr, bluetooth on + 3 short gps activities)
Sad...

you have any idea what we can do, will there come a beta or something similar as for FR245 (seems the beta fixed the battery drain there)?
Just to "prove" the opposite: went on a run today with a fully charged 945 and had music streaming. It took 15% battery during the 1h 15min run which I think is a very good value. After my sudden battery drain and subsequent hard reset, the watch is behaving very nice.
