Hi frieds, purchased new Garmin 945, and went for my 70.3 triathlon. At the end of the race pushed to save an activity and watch died on me and didn't save an activity, any thoughts on retrieving it?

congratulations on the triathlon
sorry to hear about your mishap
after turning the watch back on, is there any hint of an activity ?
check your watch from a computer for files made that day
use a recovery tool like recuva to scan your watch
when you are able to retrieve a fit file and it does not upload....
check if you can repair your file with help of FitFileRepairTool
or
with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool
zip the fit file and upload here in the forum, or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

Thanks for respond, no sign of activity at all, I found .fit file with correct time and date on the watch though.
But Garmin Connect wouldn't take it.(
My .fit file to download
I will be very happy if you can help me.
I am very sad with such experience, but I am happy that someone offered a helpful hand!
recording to your fit file ended abruptly and the summary at the end is missing
repaired with FitFileRepairTool
all data is present in your original fit file, did you use OHR during swim ?

Thank you so much! During swim I used chest strap. But waiting for stable OHR.
Had a look in the fit file.
The hr data during swim is from the OHR, not from your hrm-tri.
I asked, because you were using the beta firmware 2.64 and I forgot I could look it up in the fit file myself.

Interesting, but I thought I was using strap:)
Maybe silly question. Where is fit file located in watch? Lost biking activity today as well as steps done...
