Has anyone else Firmware 2.60?

Hi,

I got my brandnew fr945 yesterday. It has firmware version 2.60 on it but i can't find anything on the web about it. Any ideas?

Furthermore gps 2.30 is displayed. Do you recommend to update the chipset?

    On the bottom of your box. What the revision means is speculative

    2.60 is for the newer released units (probably the units that have the button fixes). The Pulse Ox doesn’t work in 2.60 units no matter what version you upgrade or downgrade to - Garmin Support advised me that this will be fixed with a software update/patch soon. I was going to return mine as well, but the Pulse Ox isn’t that useful as I am not at altitude, so I’ll wait for the software update. I’m just glad the buttons work so well in the new unit - everything else works great.

    Mine is rev A also, 2.60 fw. No problems with buttons or anything else. I bought it few days ago from Wiggle and it arrived today. So, I tested it only for few hours but everything seems ok for now.

    Pulse Ox works in mine. I have 2.60. Maybe I'm the lucky one. The watch arrived to me today with 2.60 installed, I tested Pulse Ox in always mode or as one time measurement, in the both cases everything works fine. HR readings also works with Pulse Ox always on...

    Same here, 2.60. Pulse Ox and HR readings both work when enabled together, either all-day Pulse Ox (only tried for ~6 hours since it drains battery so quickly) or sleep mode. Have had the watch nearly 4 weeks now.

    2.60 gps 2.30 bought in UK, everything works except PulseOx data in apps. WIdgets works fine, inlcuding all-day monitoring of HR and PulseOX. Night PulseOx monitoring is enabled as well.
