945 Wireless headphones real world experiences

I thought it'd be useful to have one thread to capture info on headphones, looking at the 645 thread, this info below appears to be key knowledge! I'll aim to update this master table as people post info on what works/what doesn't.

UPDATED 16th August 2019

  • The point in this thread is that there is a simple, consolidated view of what works and what does not. Single row tables, and information just typed in is no use. Please add as a new row to the one overall table.

I'm sorry, but what does the comment mean? Isn't old, just acts old? Like it threw its back out or a storm's comin' because its knee is acting up? I'm being funny, but I have a set of Trekz Airs and I literally can't understand what this comment is trying to tell me to expect.

Sorry - could be clearer but tried to keep thread clean.

The headset is ok - but it is based on very old BlueTooth Technology - making it a PITA to use with multiple devices. Just as bad as my 5-10 year old original Jabra Sport. The lady talking in your ear - sounds about the same as my Jabra Sport - so I guess it runs on more or less the same chipset as the first Jabra Sports. But I am underwhelmed by a $150,- sports headset with such outdated technology. :) But at least it has tactile buttons and not the touch cr*p :)

But nothing compares to my Bose for ease of multi-device pairing and usage - but I don't want to run with my QC35's. But Bose only have in-ear sports stuff and I hate that..So I think I'm back with my Apple AirPods if they work well on the 945. I have been running with them on my Phone for last 2 years - but I would like to be able to ditch the phone on occasion and mistakenly thought Trekz Air would do the trick and pick up the phone well when I come home again. But not a lot of luck in that department as BT Multi point is not really very good or reliable.
  • Hello,

Powerbeats 3 working perfectly without dropouts, FW 2.4. Very good range indoor, just run outdoor.

    Best regards,

    A. Duarte
