945 Wireless headphones real world experiences

I thought it'd be useful to have one thread to capture info on headphones, looking at the 645 thread, this info below appears to be key knowledge! I'll aim to update this master table as people post info on what works/what doesn't.

I do not have any problem at all with my Trekz Air. When I first turn them on they automatically connect to my phone (which is Device 1), but once I turn on music on my watch they automatically say "Device 2 Connected" and no problems. You have to go through a procedure to allow them to connect to more than one device but once you do that they work perfectly with whatever I am connected to.

Funny story, I just sent my 945 back yesterday for an exchange that will arrive tomorrow, so I have to use my 935 for my runs yesterday and today. So last night I set myself up and start my run, then long press the Down button to turn on my music and of course there IS NO MUSIC because I am using my 935! I was crushed! LOL I had to run without it but still had to wear my headphones because I already had them on. Oof!

I just got some Samsung Galaxy Buds over the weekend and tried them out yesterday. The sound is great and I had no issues with dropping out. I wear my watch on my left wrist and I am on FW version 2.5. The only problem I have is that I lose the ability to use the custom button press option when playing music from the watch, so I have to adjust volume from the watch instead of tapping the buds, and I do not have the ambient sound mode option. Everything else works. If I play music from my phone I have all functions available. They are pretty sweet!

shame the custom button options don't work and the ambient sound. Both work on my Bragi with the watch, perhaps Samsung have a firmware update??

I don't think so. Those custom functions are set within the Galaxy Wearables app on the phone and they don't get transferred to the buds unless your device has the app, which of course the watch can't have. All the other standard functions work, like single tap for play/pause, double tap next song, triple for previous song. The ambient sound doesn't work all that well anyway which is a bummer, but I used one bud on my trail run last night and that was fine. It's a shame because the buds are really awesome and the most comfortable I've ever had, but they were free with my new phone. I'll use them for sure, I just need to adjust volume on the watch, which is pretty easy.

I have them too. Work flawlessly on left wrist. No dropouts at all.
