Crash/restart during swims since 17.28

Since the latest update my 945 LTE records for about 30 seconds (roughly a pool length for me) and then crashed and restarts. It then upload a 30 second pool swim with no data. Is this known?

I'm on my third replacement watch... very frustrating. Get it, set it up and on this one I turned off automatic software updates. I'm getting good at setting up my watch, putting music back on it but…

Same, actually I sent in my Garmin 945 LTE for a warranty replacement because it suddenly started crazy altitude changes on runs, like 100K. The replacement I got was rebooting and the first thing I did was a pool swim... I'd finish whatever set I was on and the screen would be blank, back to the clock but I found out it basically would reboot roughly 30 seconds into any activity that I tried with it... did not check the software version but sent it back to Garmin and am awaiting another replacement. What's going on Garmin?

I'll tack on, my replacement watch is rebooting, this will be the second one I've received like this... it took the update and now reboot during activities. Garmin help!

I'm on my third replacement watch... very frustrating. Get it, set it up and on this one I turned off automatic software updates. I'm getting good at setting up my watch, putting music back on it but I'd rather just be using it vs. setting up a new one every week.

Connected to Garmin Express to copy music to it and it pulled the 17.28 update. Did NOT install it but it's on the watch now and who knows if it will auto-install at some point. I also noticed I can't install anything from Garmin IQ as it wants me to update... watch came with 13.28 on it.

I don't hold out much hope that my watch will not start rebooting on any activity, which makes it useless to me. One it decides to upgrade to 17.28

Going to try and get in a single long run today before it hopefully updates. At this point I may just abandon LTE and jump ship to a 955/965.

This has been an issue for months, what's going on Garmin!
