The "Sept 2023" update looks to be rolling out in Beta (Release Candidate) - 16.18: https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/forerunner-945-lte/f/announcements/346337/public-beta-version-16-18-…

Good question. I am still waiting on SW 14:52 in anticipation for the following big ones, the first a major one, to be fixed:

It is believed that the 945LTE will also get this update (or most of what' new in the update), but seems we're always a bit behind in timing. Most seem to assume it's due to the watch having LTE and thus requiring some extra rigor / approvals with carrier(s). Still with the other watches getting the update 2-4 weeks ago one may hope we could see it soon.
Anyway, I personally assume 15.19 is not coming back and we'll next see 16.12 (or a similar version aligning with the other mainline watches).

DCRainmaker noted that his contacts with Garmin confirmed the 945LTE getting a similar release mirroring the 955 "with the minor exception that 'Map Improvements will not include perspective maps'" - see comment #15 in his post https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2023/07/garmin-fenix-7-epix-get-50-new-features-in-beta-update.html
965 released 2 weeks ago (https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/forerunner-965/f/announcements/342444/public-beta-version-16-12), 955 released 5 weeks ago (https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/forerunner-955-series/f/announcements/339143/public-beta-version-16-12-pre-rollout).

Many thanks, in particular, for the #15 comment from DCRainmaker, That sounds very promising.
Any news on 945lte getting more updates? I did get the 15.19 on my watch (i have not encountered any major issues) I am really appreciating my watch. I'm using the Komoot (web or mobile) a lot to plan routes and the Komoot app on Garmin to follow. Of course all the data is plentiful. I'm probably not upgrading any time soon since the watch has all that I need now. But of course i'm interested in seeing if Garmin continues the support for the 945lte since it has newer hardware than the original 945.
Good question. I am still waiting on SW 14:52 in anticipation for the following big ones, the first a major one, to be fixed:
1) Automatic Lactate Threshold updates - Lactate Threshold is wholly broken
2) Morning reports with visuals - two pending updates on Garmin Express won't install. I can see them, but no installation is taking place
3) I can't turn off call notifications - it's disabled in settings, but the watch still alerts me with calls
I received my 945LTE on August 4th.
The big thing keeping me from upgrading is the 945LTE is still the only running watch with LTE c. I'm glad to hear from DCRainmaker that it will still get the September 2023 updates. Here's to hoping the update is released in September!
The lactate threshold is updating automatically on my watch. Morning reports is something i check every morning. I've come to be more aware of the HRV. Very telling data! Sleep points is ok info i guess. I have the notifications on for calls, messages and a few apps, strava etc. I have the HRM Pro plus (my HRM Pro died and Garmin sent me the newer version as replacement. I did not object to that :D) The chest strap gives a lot of data. I got my 945LTE a year ago. Love the watch and the strap.
I have not used the LTE at all. I had both the 945 and 945LTE at one point. I sold the original 945 since the 945LTE has newer hardware. DC rainmaker did open water swim tests with different waches and 945LTE outperformed the original 945. I had similar experiences. Also hoping too see something new in September :)

I have just installed it, and It looks like it installed the missing visual files, e.g. the morning reports!
Hey cool to know something good there. I also installed it and will look for anything to be fixed or different. So far I've just added the new glances to my rotation (i.e. Endurance Score) and saw the activity stopped menu (Resume/Save/Discard, etc.) was a little different with new icons.
