Error "Battery is too low to connect to Wi-Fi" when downloading Spotify music

Hi all! Happy New Year!

Just in case you get something similar...

When I try to download an Spotify playlist to my Forerunner 945 LTE: it asks "Fi-Fi is off. Turn on?" in order to download the content and, after answering "yes", an error saying "Battery is too low to connect to Wi-Fi" is shown in spite of having a 100% full battery.

No success after having tried to reinstall the Spotify app, using a different Wi-Fi, switching off/on the Wi-Fi before the action, downloading with the watch plugged to a charger,...

-SW (system, Wi-Fi,...) versions seems up to date.

Stupid question, but have you tried turning the watch off and on? To turn off the watch, you can either use the power button in the controls menu (hold LIGHT briefly to open it) or hold LIGHT for a long time (15 seconds) until it turns off (make sure to hold it for much longer than the LTE emergency assistance trigger duration, which is 5 seconds)

To turn the watch back on, hold LIGHT.

Shoot, sorry it didn't work for ya. I've only seen that message when my battery was legit low. Maybe it will work again after cycling the battery once (e.g. running it down below 20%, then charging it up again). You could also try connecting the watch to a PC or Mac with the USB cable and syncing with Garmin Express (this seems to be a popular troubleshooting suggestion, although in a perfect world I don't think it should be necessary for anything, except for downloading maps more quickly.)

Same problem here with Venu 2, battery full but can’t connect to Wi-Fi because “battery is too low”. Tried all you guys mentioned abovexx

Hi! In my case, the solution had to be a replacement ...no software patch/ workaround.
