new firmware for 945lte

Does anyone have any idea when a firmware update will come to the 945LTE. I feel like it will come when Garmin releases the Fenix 7 or other Forerunners which will have new features that they are holing out releasing on the 945LTE.

I feel like the 945LTE was released too soon and not inline with other watches so it is not getting the updates necessary to make it the watch it can and should be.

I have m’y watch since july 11, and honestly never have a bug or something that dont work. Im very happy of the 945LTE. I am the only one here??

@Louis: It depends on how you use the watch. The bug list is long and you will find every single bug on your 945 LTE. If you don't use a buggy feature you have no chance to notice the bug.

What is even more frustrating is they just released beta firmware upgrades for the Fenix, MARQ, Enduro and Venu 2 series.

The Venu 2 series which was also released this year and has the same HR sensors…

Not a bad idea. However, I've been quite pleased with the distance accuracy of the 945 (and 945LTE). It's the form factor I was having an issue with. The original 945 is just a bit too large for my liking, which was my justification for trying the 945LTE. If the 945LTE software were an exact copy of the 945's, I'd be happy. But, somehow something went wrong during the copy-paste onto the new 945LTE.

It's Suunto I've been having distance issues with. And since this is a core statistic (along with HR and maybe altitude), if it can't be trusted, then the rest of the data is no good. So that's why I'll be sticking it out with the original 945 for awhile.

I hope the 945LTE firmware update is soon!! The FR55 just got a firmware beta update to 4.0.

I guess we will see a Forerunner 745 XT next week which will share the firmware with the 945 LTE.

I've sold my 945 LTE last week. If Garmins top end watch gets no support even directly after the launch I dont want to find out how it looks next year when the next generation is starting.

Well, In SUP it won't count Strokes. Instead it adds to your daily step count. Also, when using a workout/ training program, custom data screens are not available. Also, when doing a trail run whether you use Run or Trail profile you get the same VO2max number. Also, *several* nights I have had vivid dreams through the night yet the sleep app say's I had no REM sleep. As a competitive paddler(series champion) this is a big deal. I have to STILL use my 935 for training and racing. The ONLY thing the 945LTE is good for is desk duties. Very sad. However I hear the Exec's are happy with the golf ball tracking. ;)

Yeah. Golf and the fact that you CANNOT remove it from Garmin connect app/web is ridiculous.

Disagree. I've been a long time Garmin user (about 10 years) and have had several different watches. Though bugs exist, I have found the vast majority of "bugs" are actually from user settings, IQ apps, a misunderstanding of how a feature works, or unreasonable expectations and not bugs at all.

Yep. And all people here reporting bugs are delusional. And are using their brand new watches without any 3rd party software installed in a BAD and inappropriate way. We just don't pray enough to Garmin god.
