Trade in programme

I saw on other forums that Garmin does do a trade in/trade up programme for devices in the same line. I wanted to check on here to try get a straight answer as no one seems to directly know, but is it possible to trade in - or at least recycle the device directly with Garmin? I have a Forerunner 745 and was looking at the new 955 or 965 because of the better heart rate sensor (and the wellness features).

Where is this being stated? Garmin does not offer a trade-in program on their watches. Occasionally, if there is a hardware issue on your watch and it is out of warranty, they will offer a refurbished watch at a discount.

If you want a direct response from Garmin, suggest asking them directly by reaching out to Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Use the Phone or Chat options for a more immediate response.

  • None to my knowledge.  Best is to try sell your device (or keep it as a backup for a while)
