Is this happening when you use Spotify, or are you using a different music source? Can you please see if there are any updates available for your music app within Connect IQ? It should be on version 1.6.6. If it is not update, follow these steps:
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select your device.
Select Music.
Select Music Providers (skip if you do not see this option).
Select Spotify.
Select Update, if available.
Yes, I'm using Spotify. There are no updates available through Connect IQ or following the steps provided.
I had the same issue.
To solve this problem, I uninstalled the Spotify app and install it again. Then I did whole configuration of the app once again (import playlists, connect headphones)
