SW VERSION 12 - ALTITUDE DROP WAS NOT FIX

I hoped that this bug would be fixed with this update, unfortunately it is not,
this situation is absurd and I'm thinking of selling it and buying another brand, I will never recommend garmin to anyone again

  • I'm feeling you, but the fix actually was not expected yet.

    All,

Just wanted to post here and let you know that we have not forgotten about you all and are still working on this.  We continue to investigate these reports but we do not expect to have any fixes in our upcoming software release. We appreciate your continued patience as we work through this disruption.

  • I am also frustrated. I never expected Garmin to be disrespectful to customers. And clearly it's a software issue, however they are only focusing on new devices. Yesterday they already released the Forerunner 965, that is, the 745 should already be forgotten and its owners.

  • It's happened twice to me in the last 2 weeks. It has been happening regularly ever since I bought the FR745, despite buying it over the FR245 because of the more advanced altimeter.

This is really irritating, and is making me wonder whether my next watch will be a Garmin (despite having only used Garmin devices since 2008).
