Constant Updates

I am trying to use my watch but keep getting installation updates every 5 minutes, making it impossible to use.

When connecting to Garmin Express this is the update information:

Forerunner 55 Sensor Hub

Version: 24.13

File Size: 426.0KB

Installation Time: 1 minute

I am sorry to read that, but glad to see that you reached out to Product Support! If anyone else experiences the constant updates, please try the following:

Power the watch off/on
If you have access to a computer, try syncing and checking for updates with Garmin Express. Unplug the device and install the update again if you see a prompt.
If that does not work, plug the watch back in and locate the Garmin Drive. Open the Garmin Folder and delete a GUPDATE file and Remote SW folder. Check for updates once more with Garmin Express.
