Moving time recorded on strava

I want to just record active time on treadmill, cycle etc but when moved to strava it records moving time. I pause between exercise. If i rest for 10 mins it shows as moving time on strava. Exact time on garmin connect. Is there a way to just record actual exercise, Looks like i am active a lot more than i actually am.

    Thanks all. This is the reply I got from Strava help desk which helps to explain.

    "Therefore, even if you manually stop or pause your device the time will be included in the activity. The file that is uploaded to Strava contains data points instead of GPS data, our system relies on GPS data to calculate moving time. We hope to have a better way to process this data in the future but unfortunately there is nothing we can do at this moment in time.
