Is garmin doing something about is connectivity issue with shwinn ic4

  • Sadly it doesn't feel like they are. I contact support months ago on this issue, they tried to troubleshoot but didn't suggest anything I hadn't already tried, then they asked if they could monitor my device for 7 days so I gave them permission to do that. I've heard nothing since.

  • Same i just let them monitor my device but for the price paid it's frustrating not be able to monitor your workout....

  • Hey everyone dealing with this issue, I reached out to support again and was told the following:

It looks like an update to improve the pairing of these two devices is currently awaiting implementation in a future update, I do not have a date for this. You will receive an email when this is released.

So it looks like it's on the roadmap, but sadly no indication on when it will be released yet.

I would suggest that anyone who's facing this issue reach out to support as I imagine their tickets are prioritised based on user impact (hopefully, anyway) so the the more people contacting support the quicker this may get updated.

  •   Garmin is currently working toward a resolution for this particular concern. I see that you have both spoken with Support about this and have been added to our open ticket, and we appreciate your continued patience as we work to implement a fix.

If any other users are experiencing this concern and are still in need of help, please leave a comment on this thread so we can assist.

  • We're happy to report that this has been resolved as of today with software version 27.09. If you haven't already, please ensure that your device is running the latest software. If you continue to experience this concern on or after 27.09, please start a new thread or contact Garmin Support for assistance.
