Can't connect to cadence sensor (IC4 bike) after update to 22.22

Previously it's worked perfectly for over a year with 100+ workouts logged. I tried removing and readding the sensor, but it no longer finds it. I've rebooted the watch and power cycled the sensor, with no luck. What else can I try?

Hoping they fix this soon... 265s not working on my IC4 bike. Hopefully enough people complain so that they can fix it within the next update.

I went to the settings in the bike indoor selection and scrolled to sensors and accessories, add new, search all, and FINALLY it found the IC4. But then I clicked to connect it and it just went in circles…

I am also having this issue with FR955. Maybe stopped working after the triangle of death debacle and reset. It was dropping data so I unpaired the bike. Now I can't repair. No sensors detected.

What's the point of these forums if the Garmin Team isn't active on them — at least from a consumer lens. Very disappointing. Feels like the multiple complaints are ending in a void.

Same for me, after the latest update my forerunner watch finds the bike as a sensor, but fails to connect to it

Same thing for me too (just want to add another post to help get the support teams attention).

Never had an problem connecting my bike with my old Venu 2 Plus and upgraded to a Fr265 and get stuck with this issue :|

Hey everyone dealing with this issue, I reached out to support again and was told the following:

It looks like an update to improve the pairing of these two devices is currently awaiting implementation in a future update, I do not have a date for this. You will receive an email when this is released.

So it looks like it's on the roadmap, but sadly no indication on when it will be released yet.

I would suggest that anyone who's facing this issue reach out to support as I imagine their tickets are prioritised based on user impact (hopefully, anyway) so the the more people contacting support the quicker this may get updated.

Thank you, I originally made a ticket for this but I never received an official reply. I'll make another one right now. The fact that they've dragged this out for a whole year is ridiculous.
