Can't connect to cadence sensor (IC4 bike) after update to 22.22

Previously it's worked perfectly for over a year with 100+ workouts logged. I tried removing and readding the sensor, but it no longer finds it. I've rebooted the watch and power cycled the sensor, with no luck. What else can I try?

Hoping they fix this soon... 265s not working on my IC4 bike. Hopefully enough people complain so that they can fix it within the next update.

I am also having this issue with FR955. Maybe stopped working after the triangle of death debacle and reset. It was dropping data so I unpaired the bike. Now I can't repair. No sensors detected.

I am having this same issue after an update I received 5 days ago. I put in a case mentioning it was due to the update and they want to switch out my watch. How about we just fix the update?! Trying to troubleshoot how to add it back as a sensor without sending my watch in for a refurbished one.

Any update or at least any feedback on this issue @Garmin? As part of the official Garmin forum, we would appreciate some official Garmin feedback for such reported issues/bugs.

This is really annoying, especially since it nicely worked in the past before that update.

In addition, I can easily connect the Schwinn IC8 bike to the Garmin Tacx App as a virtual trainer, but then I have 2 separately tracked workouts, one with my Forerunner watch (w/o any sensor data from the bike) and one from Tacx but not directly connected with the watch, unfortunately they also won't be merged together within Garmin Connect.

I contacted support and sent them links to all the posts discussing the issue. They started a case and said they would stay in touch. That way May 5.

I did the same thing 5 months ago and they told me the same story! Have not heard a thing, other than I can exchange my watch for a refurbished one!

Update: I received a 6 min update to my watch yesterday and finally the watch recognizes my IC4 bike. HOWEVER, when I click to connect it, it says it failed to connect. I've tried 6 times and even restarted the watch. Every time it finds it but just won't connect. Almost there @Garmin !
