Forerunner 265 - crash after start running activity

After start runnig activity display training instructions and crash to blue triangle... Restart not help.

    I am having the same issue now as well. Will not connect to phone at all.

    A factory reset revived my watch. Was hard to find the right instructions. Turn off Watch. Turn it on while pressing both start and back button. At first beep release start. At second beep release back button. Follow the setup routine

    After the second crash my watch didn't want to come back to life. Several attempts later it worked. After the first crash I only needed one attempt.

    29 Jan: Hello. I have had the same issue for 36hours. I have the blue triangle showing and I am unable to reboot. Nothing is working.

    29 Jan: I have had the same issue for the last 36hrs for my 265S. Blue triangle and unable to reboot. Nothing is working at all. Any idea when this will be fixed?

    I was able to do a factory reset.

    After that I was asked whether Backup a few hours old should be applied. Now the Watch is working again 

    Turn off the watch by pressing the power button long.

    Hold Start and back button while turning the watch on again. Wait for the first beep and release the start button. Wait for the second beep and then release the back button.

    Follow the setup procedure.

    You will loose the data that was only on the Watch.
