Forerunner 265 - crash after start running activity

The solution that helped me (so far).

1. Reset watch to factory settings

2. Set up the watch from scratch (as brand new device), ATTENTION: In my case i switched to English watch interface (was Russian before). I have no idea if it matters or not, but that's what I did.

3 DID NOT restore previously saved settings from Garmin Connect APP. Setup watch from scratch.

Result:
All my settings on the watch (watchface, widgets, alarms, notifications, run screens.are gone). BUT, everything works (still works). I can select running activities. everything works fine after GPS-connected.

IMHO too many user-specific settings crashes system. Hope Garmin fix it.

Reminder:To Return the watch to the factory state:

1. Turn off the watch (hold the "backlight" button for 15 seconds).

2. Press and hold the "run" and "back"buttons simultaneously then press the :"backlight" button. A triangle will appear. The first beep - release the run button. The second beep - release the back button (still hold the backlight button). A gear icon and progress bar will appear and the process will begin, release button. After loading, you get a watch without any settings.

I am also having the blue triangle showing up on my 265s when trying to start a run activity this morning so adding my name to the list. I tried the hard reset before going to the forums, but that didn’t work for me. 

Until garmin fixit  try to do:

Reset watch to factory settings. Then setup watch like brand new from scratch,  avoid restore user settings from backup. It works in my case. So I can use my watch for activities. 

All you specific watch-setings will gone BUT we can training while we waiting for the fix. Garmin Connect Portal still keeps your data. 

i got ready for a simple walk in my neighborhood and after pressing stat.....  The blue triangle of death appears.  I also have a Venu 3, but ow I'm afraid to use it. I finally got it to shut off.  Now what?

Can you at least remove the false statement on the red banner of the support center, That a pressing the start button for 30 seconds helps?

It does not!

Blue triangle of doom for me to on 265 when set to go walking, will watch this space 

Holding the power button until the unit powers off doesn't works

My watch which i have only bought 3 weeks crashed out onto a beeping screen of the blue triangle logo when i wanted to start out a GPS running activity!!! i am very much disappointed of the watchs’ performances considering i only bought it 3 weeks ago!!!
