Need Wireless v28.19

Hello, I updated my watch yesterday. Today, December 6th, it won’t let me sync, and I get the message: "Need wireless v28.19." Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I just got a notification with a QR code for downloading an actualization. Hope this will fix the issue. Check yours, for sue you´ll get it as well.

Solved this issue: How to fix this annoying issue on the ForeRunner 255 (Music). You have to go into the secret menu: menu > settings > system > about > press the upper-left button repeatedly (8 times) until the display changes > reinstall software...go for it! This did the trick for me. Hope for you guys too ;) watch out for future updates, and don't forget this solution!!

Thank you for sharing and I am very sorry about this disruption. We are aware and investigating reports. If you are seeing this error message please try the following.

If you have access to a computer, sync or add your device to Garmin Express: Remove and Add a Device in Garmin Express. After you sync/check for updates, safely eject the watch and unplug. Proceed to the next step.
On your watch, long hold the middle left button:
- Scroll UP and select System
- Select About
- Press the upper left button 8 times
- Select to reinstall software

If you do not have access to a computer, go ahead and just try step number two.

If you are still seeing the error message, please contact your local Garmin Product Support center.

It is the upper left button, not the upper right. Getting more and more disappointed Garmin......

I bought 2days ago to enjoy the city run during business trip.

I upgraded the system latest version 1 day ago.

Today 5:00am. I got up and prepared to go out for run. But i found the same message- need wireleas v28.19-.

I spent 2hours to fix it.
