Most of the time I try to sync my Spotify library over Wi-Fi, it fails.
I've tried both at home with a fiber optic connection and using a hotspot with my phone.
It fails 9 times out of 10.
The connection is excellent (2.5 Gbps on fiber and 5G on my smartphone).
