After 3 years of usage, i wore my garmin during trip to the mountains (weather was nice, a warmy 20 celsius day w/o rain/fog). It was working well for few hours, and then during descent, it started popping message "release for emergency" and turning off. I turned it on 2 times, but it turned off every time, so i leaved it off, because i was the driver...
When i was at home, i inspected it, didnt see any damage, so turned it on again before sleep. After first time, it worked like 15 mins and turned off with 70% charge (with the same message).
On the second time i turned it on and went to sleep - in the morning it was turned off. I tried to power it on, but nothing worked, so i left it.
After 2h, we rode again to the next trail - i tried to power on watch, and on the peek it turned on and worked till we descended from mountain (for another 8-9 hours without any problems).
And then during descent same thing - Emergency message and turned off with about 60%. Didnt have my charging cable (left at home), so watch was turned off for another 3 days.
Currently i was trying to charge it/plug to pc - but it isnt charging, nor detected by pc - and i dont know what to do.
I wrote to support, but got a quote for refurbish, which is more than 50% price of new device... (and am pissed than 3 year watch broke without any reason).
Any ideas?
